How Our Composition Marking Service Works
Our Primary English Composition Online Marking Package provides personalised, in-depth feedback to help your child grow as a confident, exam-ready writer.
Whether your child is building foundational skills or preparing for the PSLE, our process offers structure, expert input, and flexibility, all from home
What to Expect: Composition Topics and Feedback Process
Once payment is made, we’ll send the first composition topic. Your child will have 7 days to complete and submit it.
Our tutor will then mark it and return a 10-minute video review within 7 working days. After the first topic is completed, we’ll send the second topic to begin the next cycle.
You’ll receive:
- Two composition topics based on the latest MOE syllabus
- Two rounds of personalised marking and examiner-style feedback
- One optional second draft submission per composition (no video review for second drafts)
- 10-minute Zoom session per composition to explain the feedback

Extra Flexibility: Submit Your Own PSLE Practice Scripts
What Else Can Be Submitted for Marking?
Already have a composition written from past exam papers, school mock exams, or situational writing tasks?
You can submit it as part of this package too.
In addition to the two assigned topics, we also accept student-written compositions based on real past year questions.
These will be marked using the same 2025 PSLE rubrics and come with personalised comments and a video review—just like our standard process.

Important Guidelines & Timeframes
Package Validity: All compositions must be completed within 2 months from the date of purchase.
Turnaround Time: Marking and video feedback will be provided within 7–10 working days after each submission.
Second drafts must be submitted within a reasonable period (we recommend within 2–4 weeks of receiving your video feedback).
Zoom sessions are provided once per composition (first draft only). Second drafts receive written comments only.
Please note: Expired packages and unused submissions will not be refunded, so plan ahead to make the most of your expense.
Submitting a Second Draft? Here's How It Works
After receiving the marked script and video review, your child can revise the same composition and resubmit it as a second draft.
This step is a key part of helping them apply feedback and see real progress.
We’ll review the rewrite and return it with written comments to further guide improvement.
No additional video or Zoom is included for second drafts.
