Learning Trip to the National Museum of Singapore- Masak Masak and PLAY@ NMS
Students from Happy Kids Playgroup, together with their parents, had an enjoyable bilingual (English & Chinese) learning trip to the National Museum of Singapore.
They started off with getting their hands busy by building their dream home with their parents, using carton boxes.
The activity an excellent opportunity to get the children inspired to reflect on our local way of life and learn to appreciate what they have in their own homes.
The trip went on with us travelling back to our childhood games like Pick-up Sticks and Five Stones in a life-sized exhibit. The children got to experience the modern take of these games of yesteryear.
The children were most excited when they visited the last station of the trip. PLAY @ National Museum of Singapore has interactive exhibits and special activities that encourage learning through play. They got to express themselves through the various activities that stimulate their curious minds and tap on their creativity.
It was a fun and interactive learning experience for everyone and we thank the National Museum for hosting our visit.
